AIMS International Develops Industry Safety Education into Asia-Pacific

    • AIMS International hosted its inaugural Asia Pacific Safety Seminar in Singapore from April 21 to 25,
    • The event included 40 hours of instruction on various safety topics
    • Celebrating its 60th anniversary, AIMS plans to return to Singapore for the next seminar in April 2026

    Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers (AIMS) International, the world's leading safety education provider for the amusement industry, has made its mark in the Asia-Pacific region with the first-ever AIMS Asia Pacific Safety Seminar.

    AIMS, a not-for-profit international association representing amusement industry manufacturers, suppliers, organizations, and individuals who have an interest in providing products or services to the amusement Industry.

    This eagerly awaited event took place at the Pan Pacific Singapore between 21st and 25th April and included world-class speakers, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Singapore, and industry leaders.

    AIMS joined forces with CASY Engineering Consultancy, Yogeeswaran Sivasithamparam, and Girish Jagajeevan to launch this event to the Asian marketplace and deliver it to the high standard the industry has come to associate with AIMS International.

    AIMS International executive director Amy Lowenstein presented the keynote speech addressing North American best practices preceded by 40 hours of amusement safety instruction over the course of the five-day conference.

    Multiple sessions addressed an array of subjects ranging from maintenance to inspection, operations, electrical, permitting, welding, corrosion, risk assessment, and ASTM F-24 Rides Standards.

    AIMS board member Rob Gavel observed "the passion and participation throughout the week was inspiring. We are thankful to Yogi  and his team for their enthusiastic support and smooth operation of the seminar."

    Marking its 60th anniversary, AIMS International is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization committed to enhancing amusement Industry safety through excellence in education. AIMS International offers ride inspector, operations, aquatics, and maintenance staff training classes and certification in its annual Safety Seminar and at various locations during the year.

    The AIMS Asia Pacific Safety Seminar will return to Singapore during April 2026. Orlando, Florida, will be the location for the next AIMS Safety Seminar from January 11th through the 16th of 2026.
