- Educ8, affiliated with Epsom College UK, aims to set new standards in Malaysia’s private education sector
Kwasa Land has revealed that it has signed a strategic alliance with Educ8 Group to build a world-class education centre.
The tie-up is a follow-up of the signing of a Sale and Purchase Agreement between ECM Kwasa Damansara Sdn Bhd, an affiliate of Educ8 Group, and Kwasa Land for an 11.6-acre piece in the center of the township. The new educational facility is aimed at responding to increasing demand for quality education within the Klang Valley and will provide space for more than 1,500 students upon completion.
"Educ8 is a wonderful partner to have in evolving Kwasa Damansara into a vibrant township founded on innovation and inclusiveness", added Datuk Adenan Md Yusof, Kwasa Land's Managing Director. "Education is a pillar of our masterplan, and this development will not only enrich our community but also entice families and spur long-term socioeconomic development".
Educ8 Group CEO Mark Lankester was positive about the project: "This will be our flagship educational campus in Malaysia, providing world-class learning experiences for students from Kwasa Damansara and beyond. It also represents a significant step in growing our footprint in Malaysia's private education sector".
Educ8 Group, being a partner of Epsom College UK, aims to launch a future-proofed learning environment that responds to contemporary educational requirements. The development will sit on plots for existing public schools as designed in the Kwasa Damansara masterplan.
The developer has so far tied up with 13 top property developers across 780 acres or about 59% of the township's saleable land with the Gross Development Value (GDV) being about RM40 billion.
